Here’s the link for more information about the PS244 fundraising campaign

Here’s the link to the GIVE IT ALL TO ME Library Collection at OutofPrintClothing.com.

Check it out! The good folks dropped me a line about this project last week, and I’m happy to boost for Library Week.

Signal boost

Thanks for posting this. We are going to call to see if we can offer something. We love Out of Print (they do our nifty Kafka // METAMORPHOSIS shirts).

Please let us know what else is taking place for library week.

This looks awesome.

Skeletal Creatures Carved From Everyday Objects - Maskull Lasserre

Canadian artist Maskull Lasserre extracts the most delicate anatomical forms of animals and humans from common everyday objects like  picture frame, hanger or a bed corner.

Born 1978 in Calgary, Alberta, he has lived in South Africa and Ottawa and now lives in Montreal. Lasserre’s drawings and sculptures explore the unexpected potential of the everyday through allegories of value, expectation, and utility. Elements of nostalgia, accident, humor, and the macabre are incorporated into works that induce strangeness in the familiar, and provoke uncertainty in the expected.

my favourite part of shakespeare plays is the person at the end that is like “see how these people fucked everything up. don’t do this. look at this fuckery. look at it. fuck this. fuck everything.”

Oh Ben

I don’t think I can not reblog this anymore.

Fifty years from now two teenagers, madly in love, go on holiday to England and while there decide to visit a cemetery where so many famous people are buried. “Look, look” the girl says excitedly, “There is David Tennent, Grandma says he was the best doctor ever; whatever that means!” The boy just smiles. He has a special grave he has brought her to see; the grave of a famous man, with a very famous voice. “Look.” He points, “There it is: Benedict Cumberbatch. You know, he did the voice of Smaug in that old Hobbit movie. I used to watch it as a kid. It’s always been my favorite.” “What’s that it says on his gravestone there at the bottom?” asks the girl. They gently wipe away the moss and the boy reads it aloud “It says… ‘I ALSO DID THE MOTION CAPTURE.’”
